Safety – Prevention – Participation
Employees are our invaluable asset; therefore providing them with a safe working environment and promoting healthy lifestyle are our utmost priorities. We aim to achieve our goal of zero accident through the following three pillars: “Safety – Prevention – Participation”.
Safety
We place great emphasis on fostering a culture of safety awareness; this is achieved through clear guidelines and regulations, as well as adequate trainings. New hires are required to participate in pre-commencement training that is specific to their job nature, e.g. aloft work, working in constrained space and handling hazardous chemicals. We also perform post-training assessments to ensure all employees have sufficient knowledge to operate safely in a given environment. Additionally, we safeguard them against workplace hazards with measures such as factory floor patrols and regular performance tests on equipment.
Prevention
We believe the ultimate way to achieve absolute workplace safety is to have a comprehensive set of precautionary measures in place. We conduct risk assessments based on each workshop’s specific nature, on which we enact “tiered control management”, where procedures that are riskier in nature inherently receive extra scrutiny.
Participation
We raise workplace safety awareness among our employees by involving them in the process of strategizing workflows related to safety management. All workers are also required to participate in drills and practices.
